Hi Ullas, Also Office 365 - E1 license is providing only Office Online, So I think automation to office document may not work. Is there any solutions for this issue? Here is a reply from that I referred from. DSOFramer Control has been retired. DSOFramer was a sample and is not supported. There will be no further updates to DSOFramer and KB 311765 is been taken down.
Office was never meant to run in embedded mode. There are many known issues when Office is embedded. Besides DsoFramer, you can also use the WebBrowser embedded in Winform or ASP.NET and navigate to an Office document. But that is also an embedded using which considered not supported and may cause some known issues.
From above message, I think the only way is use WebBrowser embedded in Winfrom or Asp.Net, there is no any other way from MS. Try to check if there is any third-party product to help you. After some search,. it seems that the component has not these bugs in the dsoframer. For more details, please contact their official website for better support. Click to participate the survey. Thank you Kristin. Edward mentioned that was forum for Office developing like Office automation and that's why i posted the question again in this forum. I would also like to know whether there is any option to load and display Office documents and do some office automation in windows form. I know about WebBrowser control and when i checked, the office documents are loading out side the control. Actually my issues is that, our application uses DsoFramer for loading and displaying office documents. This supports till Office 2013.
But when we install Office 365 Click-to-Run installation, we are getting issue. That's why I am looking for alternatives to load and display office documents in my windows application.
Also we need to support the older documents which customers loaded earlier. Also Office 365 - E1 license is providing only Office Online, So I think automation to office document may not work.
Is there any solutions for this issue? Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks & Regards Ullas UllasJoseph.
